The History of "Bob"
(in a nutshell)

My name is Bobbie and I was born in 1978 on the western slope of the Colorado Rockies. Since then I've lived in Florida, Arizona, Georgia and South Dakota. (decided I wanted to see some of the country!) I'm now married to a wonderful guy named Charlie and we've relocated to Southern California.

Horses horses horses....
I've been around horses off and on all my life. My involvement in model horses started when my mom gave me her collection of OF Breyers when I was 11. I was fascinated! 3 years later, I did my first repaint, a Hartland mustang that became a *flashy* bay tovero. I later named him Reckless (after the title of a Bryan Adams album - I was a die hard BA fan) Reckless went on to be a multi photo show champion. In addition he raked in compliments from show judges. Unfortunately the mold flaws prevented him from ever being live show competitive.

My how far I've come...

Let the games begin!
My main focus now are drastic "what mold was that?!" custom horses. I usually work in Stablemate scale (much easier to stable the hordes of unfinished steeds) and my specialty breeds, as far as remakes, are Friesians. I have, to date, 8 SM Friesian remakes in progress or planned. A couple of them will hopefully end up cast in resin.

I've done very well at the limited live shows I've attended, qualifying CMs for NAN at every show and, more recently, bringing home Championships. I always strive to create horses that I feel are LSQ and that I would want to represent my work at the shows.

I ALWAYS have CMs for sale and constantly have a list of in progress works that are available for custom finishing. In addition, I take limited custom orders.
